Minor repairs

As with any mechanical device, minor problems can arise from time to time.  Many of these repairs can be made on-site - in your home in conjunction with a tuning service call.  Doing these repairs during a regular service call can save you money.  Every effort is made by Daniel to accommodate this.

If there are problems with your piano, please inform us when you make your appointment to ensure that Daniel is prepared with the proper tools and parts to avoid a second service call.  This will also save you money.

some minor repairs that fall into this category include:

Sticking keys

Broken hammers

Repair of small numbers of keytops

Noises

Squeaky or malfunctioning pedals

String replacement

other repairs recommended by Daniel when he is there for a tuning - he may recommend additional services to be done at the time of the next tuning call

Key Benefits

Timely repairs - get the piano working again quickly
Save moving costs involved with repairs in the shop
Less time of interruption from playing and/or lessons
